This website was born out of the production of Education by Brian Dykstra, a play about teenage activism. During the run of the production we discovered that you don’t have hold a paintbrush to be an artist. And that art, in itself, is a form of activism. We launched this site as a place to continue the exploration of art as activism and to celebrate artists and activists and people that are bringing positive change to the world through their art.
